We need your help. Would you like to make a difference in the lives of young South African work seekers? Harambee youth Employment Accelerator helps young South Africans find employment for the first time. One of the biggest challenges that we face is getting candidates interview ready. Our experience shows that candidates placement success is enhanced by having mock interviews. It helps them gain the confidence they need to succeed. We are looking for volunteers to come and help run mock interviews for candidates and feedback to them on how to improve their skills. This is a great opportunity for everyone from CEO’s and senior management to junior team members needing to improve their interview skills to get involved and make a difference in someone’s life.
If you would like to volunteer for our Mock Interview Programme, please send an email to email@example.com
Interview clothing for young South African Work-Seekers
First impressions matter. Employers often make up their mind about a candidate in the first five minutes. If you are on a low income and you have no suitable clothes to wear to your interview, it is very difficult to make a good first impression.
Do you have a cupboard full of clothes that you have been meaning to clear out? Clothes or shoes you no longer wear for many different reasons? This is a great cause to dig into your cupboard and play a role in getting a young South African their first job!
All clothing donations need to be interview-appropriate, clean, in good condition and ready to wear. Every single item of clothing you donate will help a young South African succeed at their job interview.
