ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Manager Business Intelligence (BI) will lead the BI team in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of data analytics, business processes, and technology, particularly in PowerBI, SQL, and cloud platforms. This role is pivotal in driving the organization’s data strategy and ensuring that data is leveraged to its fullest potential to support business growth and efficiency. JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Leadership and Strategy:
    • Lead the BI team in developing and executing the BI strategy. o
    • Collaborate with senior management to identify business needs and opportunities for data-driven improvements.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the BI team.
  • Data Management and Analysis:
    • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data warehouses and data marts.
    • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across the organization.
    • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
  • Reporting and Visualization:
    • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI.
    • Ensure that BI solutions meet the needs of various stakeholders, including executives, managers, and operational teams.
    • Provide training and support to users on BI tools and best practices.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with IT, finance, marketing, and other departments to understand their data needs and provide appropriate solutions.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and data analytics.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science,
  • Business Analytics, or a related field. Minimum of 7 – 10 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI, SQL, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • Experience with other BI tools and technologies is a plus.
