In celebrating South Africa’s visionary companies and leaders committed to business as a force for good, Harambee received the 2019 Conscious Companies award for the Most Conscious NGO presented by Professor Mervyn King.

The awards was accepted by Maryana Iskander, CEO of Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator, and a delegation from Harambee.

The Conscious Companies South Africa Awards recognise visionary leaders and organisations who heed the call to create evolutionary business practices such as authenticity, higher sense of purpose, creativity, trust, compassion, care, transparency and good governance aligned to productivity and profit.

A huge congratulations to all the finalist in the NGO category; the Winnie Mabaso Foundation, Business Engage and Moving into Dance, who continue to do great work every day.

This is a significant recognition for our teams who live the Harambee values every day, and do the right thing every day.
